WHAT INFORMATION ANSELL COLLECTS FROM YOU,
HOW IT COLLECTS IT, AND WHY
As with most web sites, Ansell tracks information in two ways. There is voluntary information that we request, and information that we track passively.

We actively solicit information from you in several ways, including, for example during sweepstakes registrations or when you purchase products at the LifeStyles store. We also solicit information from you at our "contact us" page, at various of our sites (for example, at our corporate site, at our ansellcondoms.com site; and additionally at our ansellhealthcare.com we provide a contact form for you to request our “Source to Surgery” newsletter, and at the feedback area of our lifestylessport.com site we provide you with a form to tell us your thoughts on our site), by inviting you to send us electronic mail messages, and at several of our product sites. We collect e-mail address, street address, and telephone number, as well as certain demographic information that will help us provide you with better products. On our LifeStyles store we also collect financial information.

In order to properly maintain our site, we (like all sites on the Internet) passively track navigational information through, for example, use of cookies and by assigning Internet tags. These passive information tracking mechanisms are used to create log files, in which we record IP addresses, browser types, referring and exit pages, platform type, and other non-personally identifiable information that is useful for administering our web site.

Ansell generally does not require you to provide personally identifiable information to visit and use Ansell web sites; however, in order to participate in some activities such as our online contests and sweepstakes, or to make purchases at our LifeStyles store, you must provide us with the information requested. We may ask during those processes for additional information not required to complete your request. Optional information will be noted at the specific area. If you decide not to provide us with the required information, we will be unable to process your request. For example, if you do not provide us with your mailing address, we will not be able to process your purchase at the LifeStyles store.

HOW ANSELL USES YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information you provide to respond to your request (for example to enter you in a sweepstakes or send you a purchased product), to notify you about new features, products or services, to notify you of upcoming contests or sweepstakes, to customize your experience on our site, to improve our features, products and services, to send you surveys or questionnaires, and for other business purposes. In order to provide you with this web site, and with our products and services, we may share your information with our agents or partners. For example, when hosting sweepstakes we often work with promotion companies with whom we share your information. We also work with agents such as SureSource, Inc., SoftCoin, and SG&W to bring you certain areas of our web site. SureSource, Inc. hosts our online store through a cobranded arrangement, for example. WHAT ANSELL DOES ABOUT CHILDREN ON ITS SITE
Ansell web sites are not intended for, nor do we believe they are appealing to, children under the age of 13. Ansell does not knowingly solicit or collect information from children under the age of 13.
